Park "Lyn" Joon is a Warcraft III player from South Korea.

Biography[edit]

Lyn is a successful Warcraft III player for the past few years, winning back-to-backs Blizzcons (Blizzon 2008 and Blizzcon 2009) as well as taking third in the World Cyber Games 2009 and 2010. Lyn has enjoyed a highly successful Warcraft III career winning almost $150,000 between 2007 and 2009.[1]

On August 31, 2011, Lyn, along with the rest of the players of WeMade FOX, was left without a team, as WeMade Entertainment was closing its electronic sports program.[2] On September 10, it was announced that Lyn was joining the Chinese team PanDarea.[3]

On December 11, 2011, Lyn won the World Cyber Games 2011 Warcraft III event.[4]

On April 19, 2012, Lyn announced that he has left Team PanDarea due to not getting paid for 6 months and financial problems of the team.[5]

On May 24, 2012, it was announced that Lyn has joined Chinese progaming Team DK as a StarCraft II player.[6]

On February 16, 2016, the Chinese Warcraft 3 newsportal replays.net hinted that Lyn was practising Warcraft 3 and looking to return to the tournament scene.[7] This was later confirmed as Lyn played the WCA APAC Qualifier and have since participated in most tournaments during the year 2016.
