Proxy Tempest

Proxy Tempest is a StarCraft 2 tournament organization created by N3P in May 2016 after his departure from SCVRush. They currently hold three weekly tournaments in addition to their larger monthly tournaments. xJustxJordanx and DaeDaLuS act as management for the organization. Notable sponsors include PSISTORM Gaming, Team Ascension, Matcherino, Spawning Tool, and OSC.

Monthly Events[edit]

Fleet Finale (Discontinued)[edit]

The Fleet Finale was Proxy Tempest's first major tournament. There were three, in May June and July 2016. This tournament was later replaced by the Bonus Pool.

Bonus Pool[edit]

The Bonus Pool is a large tournament hosted by Proxy Tempest. The prize pool is provided for by contributions from Spawning Pool, N3P, and Bloodyrafe(1F Pro). There have been two so far (October 2016 and November 2016), with the third planned for January 2017.

Weekly Events[edit]

Opens[edit]

The Proxy Tempest Opens occur three times a week (2 on Europe Server and one on Americas Server), and are sponsored by OSC. The prize pool is $25 split between 1st and 2nd, and OSC points for everyone who finishes in the round-of-8 or better.

Masters Melee (Discontinued)[edit]

The Proxy Tempest Masters Melee occured every Monday night at 8:00pm EST. This tournament was open to people in Master league or below, who have not been in Grandmaster league in the past three seasons. The prize pool was $5, provided by Proxy Tempest.

Platinum/Diamond[edit]

The Proxy Tempest Platinum/Diamond occurs every Tuesday night at 8:00pm EST, and is sponsored by PSISTORM Gaming. This tournament is open to people in Diamond league or below, who have not been in Master league in the past three seasons. The winner receives one hour of coaching from a member of PSISTORM Gaming.

Bronze/Silver/Gold (Discontinued)[edit]

The Proxy Tempest Bronze/Silver/Gold occured every Wednesday night at 8:00pm EST, and was sponsored by PSISTORM Gaming. This tournament was open to people in Gold league or below, who had not been in Diamond league in the past three seasons. The winner received one hour of coaching from a member of PSISTORM Gaming. However, due to a significant drop in participation, this tournament was dropped from the calendar. This discontinuation allowed for the Masters Melee to be created.
