Nick "Pokebunny" Taber is a retired American Terran player.

Biography[edit]

In Brood War, Pokebunny played for Mannered Gaming, and reached C+/B- on iCCup. In StarCraft II he experienced more success, occasionally peaking Top 16 on the North American ladder. He has played in several Team Liquid Opens. On November 30th, 2010, Pokebunny was recruited by VT Gaming.

Pokebunny attended his first major LAN tournament at MLG Dallas 2011 where he finished top 40 - one game from making the Championship Bracket.

Pokebunny joined It's Gosu eSports on the 24th of June.

On February 1st, 2013, Pokebunny was acquired by Quantic Gaming after the team reformed by merging with It's Gosu and 4Not.[1]

On April 15th, 2013, he announced his retirement from competitive StarCraft II.[2]

  • Made it to the Round of 16 in the Battle Dex Team Liquid Open #3, but lost to eventual champion AhhBoxxah 2-1.
  • Made the finals of the US Go4SC2 Cup #17 by defeating KiLLeR, but lost to stalife.
  • Won Go4SC2 #24 by defeating Flashback in the finals 3-0.
  • Made it to the quarterfinals of TeamSpeak TL Open #10, losing to TLO.
  • Won NY Cybercraft Tournament #1 (60$) beating FreshShock in the finals.
  • Won NY Cybercraft Tournament #2 (70$) beating InflowYeN in the finals.
  • Finished second in NY Cybercraft Tournament #3 (135 USD for second), beating NrGGuN, InflowYeN and SLoG before losing to FXOmOoNan in the finals.
  • Won FireFlash Open #1 (100$) beating OpTiKzErO, vVvNGry, and dde.
  • Won the WCG USA StarCraft II Summer 2011 Event (1,000$), beating Flashback in the finals.
  • Invited to 2011 RedBull LAN and trained against SLush with Day[9] commentating.
