Unique, 4Kings
Jake "orb" Sklarew is an American Protoss player that was formerly a member of Unique eSports and 4Kings during SC2's Beta. Post-launch of Wings of Liberty he has since switched over into primarily casting while continuing to play Random on the side.

On March 3, 2012, orb moved into the Evil Geniuses team house to broadcast the Evil Geniuses Master's Cup Series VII alongside other Evil Geniuses players. On March 8, following some controversy over language, orb got dismissed from the team house and further work for the team.[1]

In Beta

Orb found much of his fame during beta from his entertaining streamed games and energetic chatter throughout. He has competed in the MLG SC2 KotBH and was invited to the HDH Invitational where he played IdrA in the first round.

He has made deep runs into weekly events like the US.CraftCup.

Orb was invited to the TeamLiquid SC2 Invitational 2.

Orb started a daily show called Orb Knows Best, in which he analyses replays from viewers.

Orb has been the main caster for the ESV TV Korean Weekly since the launch of the tournament in June 2011.[2] He briefly casted for the Evil Geniuses Master's Cup Series VII[1]

He was paired with Gretorp as the primary casting team for NASL Season 2.

  • Used to host his own daily show: "orb Knows Best".
  • Originally wanted to be a progamer, but became a caster when he decided he couldn't compete with other pros due to his color-blindness. (He was defeated in 6 tournaments by nukes because he could not see the nuke dot.)[Citation needed]
