mCon esports is a Dutch esports organisation focusing on uniting some of the best talent in the Benelux, as well as developing new talent within the region. Apart from their semi-professional teams, which include Rocket League, League of Legends and Starcraft 2, various other less competitive teams and players are part of, and play with the mCon esports tag.[1]

After picking up Poyo and dropping their Trackmania Team in February 2013, the focus of the team came entirely on Starcraft 2. This quickly paid off as PoYo won the most competitive Benelux LAN to date, The Party 11[2].

After huge successes with Harstem, Poyo, Darkomicron and others most of the players went inactive or quit Starcraft. mCon esports once again expanded in more divisions as League of Legends (2nd place Frag-o-Matic), Hearthstone (1st place The Reality) and more.

Yogmark got hired as Starcraft division manager with the goal of giving mCon esports once again an active and strong Starcraft 2 division, he hoped to achieve this by recruiting JayPower, Hephaistas and Dente.

After a while the StarCraft line-up changed and improved, with a strong main team containing Jona, Marsman, Dimmert, NEEK and ShaGGy.

On April 17th, 2015, the organization rebranded from Mouse Control eSports to mCon esports including a new logo, a new website and more.

On June 1st, 2020, the team announced a partnership with the municipality of Rotterdam. As a result of the partnership, the organisation renamed to mCon esports Rotterdam. [3]

In 2019, due to a long period of inactivity in the StarCraft II world, after a brief resurgence due to DSCL, the SC2 Division naturally faded out.
