About[edit]

The Lone Star Clash was a sixteen players invitational held in Texas in March 2012, and organised by the Texas e-Sports Association, Quantic Gaming, and Cyber Sports Network. It was broadcasted by MrBitter, RotterdaM, Axeltoss, and TheGunRun, and was emceed by Rachel Quirico. Parallel to the invitational, 14 universities competed as teams in the Collegiate Starleague Southern Regional Playoff Qualifier. The invitational offered a prize pool of $10,000 and the collegiate bracket offered a prize pool of $1,500.[1]
