[edit] Overview
Hamish "Kowi" Parker is a New Zealand StarCraft 2 player and ex-WarCraft III player. He represented New Zealand in WCG for WarCraft III, and achieved up to rank 17th in the world playing mainly king of the hill.
[edit] Biography
Kowi was the best WarCraft III player that New Zealand has produced, and is arguably their strongest StarCraft II player. He is known for his appearances in two World Cyber Games and a silver medal at the Pan Asian Cyber Games.[1] His impressive career in WarCraft III saw him claim WCG wins over such players as LongWalk, ToD and Sonic.
Playing out of Christchurch, New Zealand, Kowi has a strong rivalry and friendship with top Australian SC2 and ex-WC3 player mOOnGLaDe. His most notable gaming achievements have been in WarCraft III, where he placed 2nd at WCG Asia 2007, and his winnings on NGL1 where after 2 seasons had his WC3 World ranking rise to 27th. [2].
[edit] Wings Of Liberty
Kowi competed in the TransTasman Championships and WD PSI Storm 2010, as well as clanwars in LaG-League for Clan Kiwi. He was invited to the Blizzard SEA Invitational and has placed relatively high on the NA ladder under the smurf Cranklodocus. Like many WarCraft 3 players who chose Protoss, such as Axslav and KiWiKaKi, he is known for his frightening micro when using mass blink stalkers.
