Overview[edit]

The Gfinity StarCraft II Summer Masters I tournament features 8 players competing for a $10,000 prize pool. It originally was supposed to feature 16 players and 1,800 WCS Points but the announcement only listed 8 players with no indication that it was still giving WCS Points.[1] What was the European Qualifiers for this tournament was changed to Qualifier #1 and Qualifier #2 for the Gfinity Summer Masters II after it had been played. Consequently, KeeN, Patience, MyuNgSiK and HyuN, who all qualified for Gfinity Summer Masters I will instead play in Gfinity Summer Masters II.
