Fitzyhere has an unusual style of play, in which he employs the use of non-conventional openings, most of which transition into heavy use of queens during the later stages of a game.[1]
One of his signatures is his long ZvT matchups in which he utilizes an infestor, broodlord, queen, and ultralisk composition. Traditional lategame Terran compositions have difficulty dealing with the tranfusions from the queens which keep the broodlords and ultralisks alive. The weakness of the army is its mobility, resulting in long drawn out games. Fitzyhere has used this style to defeat players such as GanZi (Bo1) and Junbo (Bo3) in Playhem North American Daily tournaments, as well as DeMusliM on ladder.[2]

Fitzyhere left Convergence Gaming late March 2012, and joined Habitat mid-April the same year. Current details of the team switch are unknown.
Fitzy barely lost a best of 21 showmatch[3] to puCK 8-11 for a prize of $200 and a slot on ROOT's roster, however, a turn of events meant that both players were invited to join ROOT. On June 2, 2012, Fitzyhere officially joined ROOT Gaming.[4] Shortly after he proved his worth at the 2012 MLG Spring Championship, fighting through to the Open Bracket Finals and defeating RuFF, Zenio, and Spades 2-0. That same weekend, Fitzy participated in the WCS USA Nationals where he placed top 16 and thus qualified for the 2012 Battle.net North American Championship.
