The Evil Geniuses Master's Cup Series V is a team league organized by Evil Geniuses, it features eight invited teams from North America and Europe and a $10,000 prize pool. The matches are broadcasted by Marcus "djWHEAT" Graham with weekly guest commentators such as Greg "IdrA" Fields, Geoff "iNcontroL" Robinson and Taylor "PainUser" Parsons.

Format[edit]

Each of the eight teams will face each other in a round-robin of clan wars. Each clan-war will be played in the following format:

  • Games 1-3: 1v1 best-of-three
  • Game 4: 2v2 best-of-one (played regardless of score)
  • Ace Match (if needed): 1v1 best-of-three

The final Standings will be decided by the amounts of overall Wins each team has. In case of a tie the Points scored in each match will be used. The Top4 teams in the standings will play in a Double-elimination Playoffs for the championship.

1 MyM signed their 2v2 team on May 31st after realizing the importance of designated 2v2 players[1]
2 Gretorp left Fnatic on May 20, 2011.
3 ROOT Gaming was acquired by compLexity Gaming on June 12, 2011.[2]
4 Complexity Gaming acquired ROOT Gaming on June 12, 2011 and took its spot in the league from Week 6 on.[2]
5 Strelok left Mousesports on May 13, 2011.
