Cameron "EdgE" Murrin is an Australian StarCraft II player, who formerly played for the Australian team Frenetic Array, the Australian clan Terror Australis and the South Korean clan MvP.

Biography[edit]

EdgE is an ex-SC1 player who achieved a B- high rank on iCCup as Zerg. He was characterised by intelligent play and strong micro, with a strong Zerg mirror match-up.

Beta[edit]

During the Beta, EdgE played Terran with no notable results achieved. He underperformed as he did not adapt to the new game very quickly, only placing in Gold when Platinum was the highest. D

EdgE played in the Trans-Tasman one and two, only winning one round in both of them combined.

When StarCraft II was released, EdgE made the switch to Zerg. While not playing competitively for some time, when EdgE finally decided to commit to the game he managed to qualify for the WD PSI Storm 2010 event.

EdgE has enjoyed great success in SEA tournaments, particularly in late 2010 and most of 2011. Internationally, EdgE has won rounds in TSL Qualifiers and Playhems, but has never had breakout success.

In terms of ladder, EdgE has achieved rank 1 Master on Korea, top 30 GM on NA, and Top 1 on SEA (top 30 with all 3 races). Along with this, he has taken multiple highly skilled scalps.

In January 2012, Archaic esports disbanded.

In March 2012, EdgE joined Carnage eSports.

In July 2012, EdgE qualifies for the WCS Australia Finals.

On September 9, 2012, Frenetic Array picked up Carnage eSports's StarCraft II Manager Chadmann and 6 Carnage players, including EdgE, to form their first StarCraft II team.[1]
