Chronology
Overview[edit]
The 10th Season of the ESL Pro Series France (EPS) is a French SC2 League organized by the Electronic Sports League. Players were only allowed to participate if they reside in France.
Format[edit]
Unlike in the previous Series, the participants were placed in two groups. The four best players of each groups were then put in a single-elimination bracket.
Controversy concerning the date of the playoffs[edit]
ESL was criticized for their choice of the date of the playoffs, which was supposed to take place on 3 July 2011, same day as World Cyber Games 2011 Qualifiers France and ESWC 2011 Qualifiers.
Postponing of the playoffs[edit]
The day before the playoffs, twelve computers belonging to ESL were stolen in the place where the event was about to be held. ESL therefore decided to postpone the playoffs to an unknown date.[1] Playoffs were finally played the 23rd July 2011.
Prize Pool[edit]
Converted USD prizes are based on the currency exchange rate (taken from xe.com) on July 23, 2011: 1 EUR = 1.4358 USD.

Group Stage[edit]
mak0z and DidZz forfeited for various reasons.
Finals[edit]
The finals was eventually played on 23 July 2011. Because of several issues (Laukyo was banned by ESL, Stephano, KenZy, MoMaN and AureS preferred to compete in Master Series Finals), ESL decided to change the format of the finals. The four players were put in a group of four, and then a final and a final for the third place were played.
Group Stage[edit]
The winner of a match earns three points. The competitors are ranked according to their number of points, and then by their average of games.
Player | Adelscott | SarenS | ToD | TuZeR | Average | Points |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Adelscott | 2 - 0 | 0 - 2 | 2 - 0 | +2 | 6 | |
SarenS | 0 - 2 | 2 - 0 | 2 - 0 | +2 | 6 | |
ToD | 2 - 0 | 0 - 2 | 2 - 0 | +2 | 6 | |
TuZeR | 0 - 2 | 0 - 2 | 0 - 2 | -6 | 0 |
Given that Adelscott, ToD and SarenS were ranked the same place, they were pit in tie-break matches.
Tie-Break[edit]
First Tie-Break[edit]

Players came again in a Tie-Break situation, therefore needing a second Tie-Break stage.
