The ASUS ROG The GD Invitational is a $10,000 eight-player invitational tournament organized by ASUS ROG Tournaments which will be held on October 2012 at the GD Studio in Stockholm, Sweden.

Overview[edit]

Format[edit]

Groups into single-elimination
  • Group Stage
    • 2 groups of 4 players each
    • Round-robin format, top 3 players in group advance
  • Elimination Stage
    • 6-player single-elimination format
      • Top winner in each group receives a quarterfinal BYE, and is seeded directly into the semis
      • 4 other players play in a quarterfinal match
      • Best of 3 in the first round, best of 5 in semifinals and finals
