The 2014 WCS Season 3 Europe was the final European event of the 2014 StarCraft II World Championship Series.
Format[edit]
Qualifiers[edit]
- 4 qualifiers advance 16 players to the hallenger League.
- 12 players from 3 European Qualifiers.
- 4 players from the Ladder Wildcard Qualifier.
Challenger League[edit]
- The Challenger League consists of:
- Bottom 16 players of previous season's remier League.
- 16 players from the Qualifiers.
- Vacated seeds from last season are given to additional players from the Wildcard Qualifier.
- Each returning player faces a qualified player in a single Bo5 match.
- The winner advances to remier League.
- The loser is eliminated and may requalify next season.
Premier League[edit]
- Group Stage #1 (Round of 32): Dual Tournament Format.
Bottom 16 fall to next season's hallenger League.
- Group Stage #2 (Round of 16): Dual Tournament Format.
All 16 players who make it to this round are seeded in next season's remier League.
- Playoffs: Single-elimination bracket.
- Due to changes to the tournament structure in the 2015 StarCraft II World Championship Series, the Premier and Challenger spots are reset. Players will need to requalify for 2015 WCS Season 1. [1]
