The 2012 MLG Spring Arena 2 is a 32-player tournament held on May 18 to May 20 in New York City. It is the second of two Arena events in the 2012 MLG Spring Season. The top four finishers from 2012 MLG Spring Arena 1 will join the winners of each invite-only online regional qualifier and other invites to compete for an $26,400 prize pool, seeding for pool play, and all-expenses paid trips to the 2012 MLG Spring Championship in Anaheim. Clutch will host. Apollo, TotalBiscuit, djWHEAT, Wolf, Rob Simpson, and itmeJP will provide casting. Adebisi will be the dedicated observer for the games.[1]

The top 12 players not already qualified from 2012 MLG Spring Arena 1 will be seeded into pool play and will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the 2012 Spring Championship in Anaheim. The bottom 16 players will get seeded into the open winners bracket round 5.

  • Extended Series

Championship Format[edit]

  • series 1 = Best-of-5
  • series 2 = Best-of-9
    • If the player from the losers bracket wins the series 1 (bo5), the match evolves to a bo9
