About[edit]

The 2012 MLG Spring Arena 1 is an eight-player tournament being held from April 20 to the 22nd in New York City. It is the first of two Arena events in the 2012 MLG Spring Season. The top eight finishers from 2012 MLG Winter Championship were invited to compete for a $10,900 prize pool and four all-expense-paid trips to the 2012 MLG Spring Championship to participate in that event's pool play. Just like it was with the first Arena in 2012, the event will be pay-per-view only. Clutch will host. Artosis, djWHEAT, Tasteless, itmeJP, Rob Simpson will provide primary commentary for the event, with Grubby, Axslav, qxc, and Sheth providing additional analysis throughout the broadcast. Adebisi will be the dedicated observer for the games.[1]
