Showmatches[edit]

Before the Code S Finals, five showmatches are played as part of the GSL 1st Anniversary ALLSTARS show.

The players are separated into two teams with Mr. Chae and Engine, two GSL casters, as coaches. They are able to bet on their players with different amount of points: 1 point (twice), 2 points (twice), or 3 points (once). A player who wins gives his team the points that their coach bet.
