History[edit]

  • Founded in June 2003 as SG Family
  • Changed name to Toona SG in August 2003
  • Changed name to Pantech & Curitel Curriors in August 2004
  • Changed name to Pantech EX in April 2006
  • Changed name to WeMade FOX in August 2007
  • Disbands August 22, 2011

Overview[edit]

WeMade FOX, also known as Toona SG, P&C Curriors, and Pantech EX, was founded by coach Son Ho Chang in June 2003. He was soon joined by two KTF players, his franchise player NaDa and top Zerg and former protégé YellOw, but YellOw soon returned to KTF due to insufficient funding. NaDa, supported by SiR@SoNi, Goodfriend, Rock, and Silver, led Toona SG to a strong position in Proleague; they finished 1st place in 2004 SKY Proleague Round 2, but lost to Hanbit in the 2004 SKY Proleague Grand Finals. After their initially strong showing, the team (now christened the Curriors) did not place quite as well in following years, even though Pantech players such as NaDa, Silver, Goodfriend, and Rock continued to have strong showings in individual leagues. The new generation of Pantech--now WeMade FOX--layers was led by Mind, who won the 2007 GOMTV MSL Season 3 over Bisu. By 2010, WeMade FOX had seen a revival in Proleague after weak showings in 2008 and 2009, led by Mind, BaBy, RorO, Midas, Shine, and Pure, with support from old veterans NaDa and Rock; however, the team was disbanded soon after NaDa retired.

Facts[edit]

  • In addition to having a StarCraft team, Fox has acquired notable Warcraft 3 player Moon and later the up-and-coming Soccer. They had a Counter-Strike team as well, which used to be with eSTRO.
  • Was featured in the Razer documentary "The Hax Life"[1]
