Thezerg is a retired Korean Starcraft progamer. He played as zerg and ended his career with SK Telecom T1.

Thezerg had been a regular 2v2 player on his team MBC Hero throughout 2007 and through the end of the Shinhan07 Proleague until 2v2 was discontinued in Proleague. Soon afterward he made his 1st big breakthrough by managing to enter the Ro16 of the Incruit OSL by defeating heavy favorite and TvZ specialist Hwasin in the Ro36. Thezerg made a lot of fans with his slick Lurker-Zergling control and aggressive builds. Thezerg lost in the deciding 4th set of his Ro16 group to Midas on the heavily Terran-favoring map Plasma and was thus eliminated from the Incruit OSL. Afterwards Thezerg was transfered to the team SK Telecom T1 but went on a slump shortly afterwards. Thezerg finally made a comeback in the SPL 08-09 round 4, where he went 6-2 and helped his team finish 1st place that round.
