Rock's televised debut dates back to 2003. He qualified for several OSLs, but quickly earned the reputation of a filler, someone who would barely make the Starleague but never make an impact in it. His unstable performances, his daring ceremonies and his slightly unusual exterior have attracted ridicule and admiration alike.
Rock applied to ACE and was accepted. He joined the team in June.[1]

- Rock was the first Progamer to beat Jaedong in a Bo5 match, defeating him 3-1 in the 2007 OGN Starchallenge tournament. He still leads the head-to-head record with 3-2.
- Rock's ID is a reference to the wrestler and actor Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.[1]. Some of his ceremonies resemble his role model's style.
