  • Liquipedia Commons is officially launched. On the other Liquipedia wikis, uploading has been disabled, as all files will have to be uploaded to the Commons wiki. This centralized file resource will help us be more consistent for some images such as team logos or to share player photos across several wikis.

  • The old medal icons have been replaced by the ones that have already been in use on other Liquipedia wikis. This was done to improve consistency across all wikis.

  • The wiki software has been upgraded, from MediaWiki 1.22.5 to 1.25.2.
    • The skins had to be updated, but the visual result should be the same. One exception is that lock icons for HTTPS links are gone.
    • Category pages can now be moved. It is not a category move though, just a move of the page for the category.
    • The extension VideoFlash has been replaced by EmbedVideo for video embeds (mainly YouTube videos). This also means support for HTML5 videos has been dropped.

  • Improved bracket templates were migrated from Liquipedia SC2. Readability has been improved, and in-bracket match summaries are now supported.

  • We are currently in the midst of updating the templates being used on this wiki. The most visible change is probably the switch to {{Infobox Player 2}} for all player pages, featuring a larger profile image section, among other things.

  • The 2009 TSL is proceeding in huge steps, our latest addition is the Ro16 Bracket.
  • Nonduc, mainly for his player pages, and Butterbrain, chiefly for adding many pieces of information to maps, have been auto-promoted to Editors! Congratulations!
  • The Main Page has been redesigned! Do you like it? Post any comments or suggestions in the discussion page so we can make it better.
  • Through Nonduc's incessant contributions, Jaedong's page is now the most stat-filled, impressive player article on Liquipedia.
  • Huge Starleague overhaul is underway with pages on Proleague, MSL, and OSL popping up like mad, not to mention the new 2009 TSL and ESL, e.g. Season 4 and Season 5.
  • User 7mk from Teamliquid.net has been kind enough to buy http://www.liquipedia.net for us! You can now access the wiki through that link. Huge props to him!
  • Liquipedia QnA Episode 2 recently took place, where we discussed the current PvZ trends, especially the 3 Base Spire into 5 Hatch Hydra build and possible Protoss counters.
  • BGH came to Liquipedia and is looking for help to flesh out its pages.
