Grape made his debut on Samsung KHAN in the first match that they played during the 2011-2012 Proleague Season 1 against Woongjin Stars. He played against Free, pushing rather early in the game and denying Free's attempt at an expansion using superior dragoon numbers. However, he was unable to keep his lead and eventually became contained by Reavers for long enough that Free was two bases up, thus he subsequently lost. The game is notable for Free's double use of a Manner Pylon early in the game.
