Description[edit]

The gold rush was named based on the battle aspect surrounding the resource area, and the overall tileset of the map. It is a concept map that can determine either a win, or a loss, depending on how well the player can use the special "gates" located in the outskirts of the map.

Gold Rush is one of the five maps to be used in Afreeca Star League 2017 Season 4. Also known as "Skull Desert" which was named by Tastosis.

Notable Features[edit]

  • Alternative entrances - These 'gates' can be used to gain another path way to a player's main and natural, as well as other expansions.
  • Choke point at ground gas - Making it easier to defend against ground attacks.
  • Exposed mineral only - Can make it difficult to defend if attacked at the proper angle.
