Overview[edit]

This article is concerning the Gambit's Cup very first season of the Gambit's Cup which kicked off on the 15th of July 2011.

Introduction[edit]

The Gambit's Cup is a pay-in Clan League. The idea of this league was originally made public by Joekim, he called it "champion's league" however, the thread was sniped and did not come into being. A couple weeks thereafter, Eywa- decided to kick off this new league called Gambit's Cup, that would run off of the same base idea as champions league. And so, the current most successful clan league came into existence.

Pre-Season Events[edit]

The Pre-Season of this league contained a lot of difficult times with teams constantly signing up and dropping out, the league's future was made uncertain. With the season start fast approaching, we did not have the quantity of teams that we had originally wanted, however, the league was much anticipated, though there were many doubters, the league managed to take off on the scheduled start date with an epic day view of SL].. vs sasNb.

Early Stages[edit]

Though the clan league was relatively small, the teams that did remain showed much dedication to keep the league running. The first couple weeks held some extraordinary clan wars which really grabbed the attention of the viewers, there was no way the league could be allowed to fall through after this original showing. It's really entirely thanks to the commitment of LRM, AoV, Gt and sasNb that the league managed to survive the initial battle.
