Build Order Clarification
Unless you are on a two player map, a scouting Drone is essential. You should send the Drone a few seconds before your Spawning Pool finishes. On smaller three player maps, a scouting Drone is not required because your Overlord will reach one base before your Spawning Pool finishes.
Even if you don’t use a scout, most players opt to use a Drone for an offensive Sunken Colony as this makes the rush significantly stronger.
After your first 6 Lings hatch you have a choice. If you feel confident in your rush, you can use the Gas Trick to quickly reinforce your initial Lings with an extra two.
If you feel like continuing your economy right away, either save up and create an Overlord immediately, or you can use the Gas Trick to get an extra Drone before the Overlord.
When your lings get to the enemy’s base, you should try to kill the pool first in any case. If you succeed and enemy pool is destroyed (cancelled) you should try to kill the enemy’s Lings (if exist) or mutating Sunken (if exists). Any case, keep producing Lings (after Over) and do not allow enemy to rebuild Pool. When you have enough Lings, attack and kill everything. If you failed to kill pool and enemy has more (at his base) Lings or Sunken with more than 7–8 Drones (both cases), the game is likely lost. However vs. Sunken you can try to pump economy with no more Lings trying to disallow enemy’s Gas. Any case, do not lose Lings (except equal exchange). Do not lose Lings against Drones.
