The first round of the Shinhan Bank Proleague will consist of a double round-robin, meaning that each team will play every other team twice.
Each of these matches is a best of 5. The third game is a 2v2 all the other games are 1v1. The coaches announce one week in advance which players are going to play on which map. The player for the fifth match (called Ace Game) is not revealed in advance. If this deciding ace match has to be played the team coaches will decide then who will be sent out to play.
A player can only play a single map (1v1 or 2v2) each match, but if an ace match has to be played a player may be used again.
After the round-robin Playoffs take place between the first to fourth ranked teams. These Playoffs are Best-of-Seven instead of Best-of-Five and a second 2v2 is played as game 6.
