Overview[edit]

Counter Logic Gaming, or CLG, is a North American esports organization with teams in League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Halo, and Super Smash Bros. On June 5, 2015, the team expanded into Smash by picking up Marth player PewPewU.[1]

On April 3, 2023, all CLG employees were informed that they would no longer be employed by the organization as of April 6, 2023.[2] The owner of CLG, The Madison Square Garden Company, had decided to sell off all CLG assets.[3] NRG Esports acquired CLG's roster and team slot in League of Legends, and all other divisions of the organization were dissolved.[4]
