Description
He used to be a 2100+ rated arena player, but that was years ago and nobody can get him to shut up about it.

Lord of the Arena is a neutral minion card. Your opponent can only attack this minion or other minions with taunt.

Strategy[edit]

Lord of the Arena is one of the weaker six mana minions at the moment. Five HP is enough to survive against popular Argent Commander, though. In a more passive deck this card can be used to buy time and to win card advantage, but it will have little chances to bring board control towards you. Most of the time when a defensive six mana minion is needed Sunwalker would be the better choice. On the other hand, this card can be used as a poor man's alternative of the Sunwalker in a low budget deck that needs defensive creatures.

Trivia[edit]

  • The description is a reference to World of Warcraft, which also has a game mode called Arena, in which one could get Arena points, although that has later been changed.
