Daniel "DTwo" Ikuta is a Hearthstone player born in USA and lives in Nara, Japan. He is playing for Nuit Blanche

Biography[edit]

Dtwo was born in New York USA and Raised in southern California. He is currently residing in Japan.[1] Dtwo began playing Hearthstone during closed beta. He quickly became a staple in weekly tournaments and eventually signed with grass roots team Don't Kick My Robot in late 2013. Dtwo is known for his success in the Blizzard World Championship where he finished 3-4th overall. During the second stage of the qualifying tournaments Dtwo made his first major "televised" tournament debut.

In Beta[edit]

Dtwo played in many weekly tournaments in closed and open beta, such as the managrind weekly swiss, topdeck, as well as NESL and Zotac cups. He also signed with DKMR.

Post Release[edit]

Dtwo continued to play in weekly tournaments. This led to a victory in the weekly NESL tournament, earning him a qualify spot in the North American Server Blizzard world championship qualifying tournament and a spot in the weekly KOTH showmatch, His first major "TV" showmatch debut. He then went on to then Qualify through both the first and second stage of qualifiers to earn a spot to play in the world championship at Blizzcon. In November 2014 Dtwo transferred to team IhearthU with the rest of DKMR. Continuing under the I hearthU banner, Dtwo made it all the way to the semifinals, losing to eventual champion, and former DKMR decktester, firebat. [2] Continuing on his success Dtwo went on to win the battle of the best tournament.

Dtwo also made his casting debut. He hosted many of the DKMR Invitational Showmatch Series, Along side Kobayashimaru. The Duo also hosted DKMR's weekly Series the DKMR roundup which featured all the weekly reoccurring hearthstone tournaments and ranked the best weekly players.

Trivia[edit]

- Dtwo was the longest reigning member of DKMR making the transfer to Team IHearthu upon the disbanding of DKMR

- Dtwo is also active in competitive tennis

- Dtwo is known for missed lethal during his run through the second blizzard world championship qualifier in New York. This was reference by blizzard in their coverage leading up to the world championship. [3]
