Daigo "The Beast" Umehara is a Japanese fighting game player who plays for Red Bull eSports and is also a Twitch Global Ambassador. Often considered as one of the greatest fighting game player of all time, Daigo specializes in Capcom fighting games and is considered one of the five Japanese Capcom fighting gods (alongside Tokido, Sako, Nuki and Haitani). A prolific competitor in the FGC, he has won multiple EVO Championship Series titles in Super Street Fighter II Turbo (2003, 2004), Street Fighter 4 (2009 and 2010) and Guilty Gear XX (2004) and has placed in numerous top 8 EVO finishes in various fighting games.
