Overview[edit]

SK Gaming is one of the oldest names in electronic sports, founded in 1997 under the name Schroet Kommando in Oberhausen, Germany. Best known for its Counter-Strike successes, SK Gaming currently consists of the following divisions:

  • League of Legends
  • Quake III
  • Smite
  • Counter Strike: Global Offensive
  • Sports

2012[edit]

  • January 14th - SK announces the departure of CalculuS and the recruitment of MaNia.[1]
  • January 30th - releases their Dota 2 roster, citing the uncertain future of the DotA scene.[2]

2011[edit]

  • November 11th - SK announces the signing of former danish team monkeybusiness, with players from TI1 team neVo.[3]

2009[edit]

  • March 10th - SK Gaming parts with their DotA team.[4]

2008[edit]

  • February 24th - KwoM and Renji are removed from the team due to inactivity.[5]
  • Febrary 29th - hailo and former Virtus.pro support ARS-ART joins the team.[6]
  • April 15th - French player Rwar joins the team.[7]
  • June 2nd - Croatian DotA national team leader Minitito joins SK.[8]
  • June 22nd - ARS-ART and Rwar leaves the team.[9]
  • September 3rd - KwoM returns to join the team.[10]
  • September 30th - Bogdan and Minitito leaves, zoN joins.[11]
  • November 11th - Akke retires from competitive DotA.[12]
  • September 25th - zoN leaves SK Gaming.[13]

2007[edit]

  • June 30th - SK Gaming picks up Team_Team to join the organization as their DotA division.[14]
  • July 6th - Swedish player zBob joins the team that now consists of Loda, Akke, Bogdan, KwoM, Renji, Drayich and zBob.[15]
  • August 26th - toMpa and Snow start to stand-in for Loda who is traveling through Europe.[16]
  • September 17th - toMpa replaces zBob as an offical member of the team.[17]
  • December 19th - Swedish captain Drayich leaves the team and Loda takes over as leader.[18]
