Overview[edit]

The RaidCall Dota 2 League is a seven-week long online league run by the team Evil Geniuses featuring eight of the best Dota 2 teams. The first season started Monday, September 10. On September 13, the organizers issued a postponement in the tournament due to roster instability of several teams.[1]

Tournament Format[edit]

The first season of the RaidCall Dota 2 League features eight invited Dota 2 teams competing for a portion of the $10,000 prize pool. Each team will play a different team every week, eventually having played everyone once. The top four teams of the round-robin stage advance to battle it out in double-elimination playoffs. All matches are best-of-three.

6 mousesports dropped their team on October 16th[3] ; however, they kept playing together under the name Team Zero.

All matches up until the Grand Finals are played Bo3 and the Grand Final is Bo5.

Every team will play once a week resulting in four best-of-three matches a week, daily from Monday to Thursday, casted by Ayesee and Draskyl on OneMoreGameTV. The Finals Weekend is a live studio-produced broadcast. All tournament matches as well as replays are also available on DotaTV.
