Overview[edit]

Moscow Five, often abbreviated M5, is a Russian multigaming organization which was founded in 2001. The organization has teams in Counter-Strike, WarCraft, FIFA, and LoL.

Moscow Five is a very unstable team, frequently going through player rosters. In 2012, their team under Vladimir "PGG" Ansonov disbanded, followed by the one led by Igor "Nexus" Lisakovskiy, resulting in the end of Moscow Fives's Dota division on November 1st, 2012. However, on August 8, 2014, they re-entered the Dota 2 scene.

History[edit]

  • August 8th - M5.Dota 2 is reformed with the lineup of Vigoss, blowyourbrain, TpoH, ARS-ART, and Nexus.[4]
  • August 29th - ARS-ART leaves the team for personal reasons, and is replaced by PGG.[5]
  • October 4th - Nexus leaves the team, and KingR replaced him.[6]
  • November 9th - PGG officially leaves the roster, but will play as a standin until a replacement is found.[7]
  • November 11th - Moscow 5 announce the signing of an international squad, featuring recently departed PGG, and players from sQreen's Squad.[8]
  • November 21st - Moscow 5 announce the departure of their primary squad.[9]
  • December 16th - Bignum is replaced by Slander.[10]
  • January 31st - M5.Dota 2 is released once again after internal disagreements, and most of the lineup moves to Darer.[11]
  • March 26th - M5 return with another lineup led by PGG, together with Bl00DAnGeL, Inmate, and Silent.[12]
  • April XXth - Vigoss becomes the de facto 5th.
  • May 12 - Inmate departs on the premise that the career of a pro gamer does not suit him. Admiration replaces him.[13]
  • September 6th - Moscow Five's Dota 2 Team disbands. Two players are offered to rebuild a new team.[14]
  • September 15th - Vladimir "PGG" Anosov and Dmitry "Inmate" Filinov join new team The Retry.[15]
  • September 16th - Moscow Five confirms new Dota 2 roster featuring Igor "Nexus" Lisakovskiy (Captain), Vadim "Sedoy" Musorin, Aleksey "BullsEye" Berezin, Ilya "STALIANER" Drugov and Andrey "Dread" Golubev.[16]
  • November 1st - Moscow Five disbands.[17]
