- Healing Salve has a nearby buffer range, allowing it to be cast on allies within 500 range. Casting outside of this range results in the default 250 range being used instead of the buffer.

Healing salves are used to rapidly regenerate health without leaving your lane. Its usage is interchangeable with the Tango, but with some notable differences. Unlike tangos, salve regeneration is canceled when player damage is taken. As such it is recommended to stay away from the actual creep wave or enemy heroes while using it to prevent wasting a portion of the heal. Another difference is that salve only comes with 1 charge, while tangos come with 4 that regenerate less HP per charge at a slower rate, but more total HP over the four charges. Although tangos are more reliable and can be less wasteful in healing than a salve, the salve is much faster at healing.
Strongly recommended for any hero that has taken significant damage in the early game, and needs to regenerate a large portion of their health without wasting time returning to the Fountain.
