Echo Fox is a North American professional eSports organization founded and owned by former NBA player Rick Fox. The organization was established in December of 2015, after Fox purchased and re-branded the League of Legends team Gravity Gaming for the reported sum of $1 million.

Timeline[edit]

  • December 18th - Echo Fox is founded.
  • January 26th - Echo Fox announce their initial foray into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with the signing of the Torqued squad that participated at the Americas Last Chance Qualifier for MLG Columbus 2016. The organization also announced that the team would be participating in the inaugural ELEAGUE season. [1]
  • April 9th - tck tweets that he has been cut [2] amidst rumors that the team is on the verge of making changes [3]
  • April 20th - roca joins Echo Fox. [4]
  • April 28th - m0E announces on twitter that he is stepping down from the active line-up. He also states that a2z will be moving to a substitute position, and that ShahZaM and ichibaNNN will be standing-in for the team [5]
  • May 8th - ShahZaM officially joins the team [6]
  • May 31st - Echo Fox sign fREAKAZOiD [7]
  • November 16th - Echo Fox announces that its players are free to explore options outside of the organization [8]
