Format[edit]
- Online Round-Robin League Format
- All teams play each other in 2 consecutive Bo1 matches
- Click here for information on the map veto process
- Each team lists their maps in order of preference (1st-7th)
- The lowest ranked map of the first team is banned
- The 2 remaining lowest maps of the second team are banned
- The now lowest remaining map of the first team is banned
- The highest remaining map of each team is played as their home map, unless it was already played, then their second highest is played
- In Regulation winners receive 3pts
- In Overtime winners receive 2pts, losers receive 1pt
- The top six placed teams proceed to the offline finals
- The top nine placed teams continue to the next season
- The teams that place tenth and eleventh are sent to relegation
- The bottom placed team is sent to premier

- 1 November 13th - Team Liquid replace stanislaw with steel. [7]
- 2 February 5th - Team Liquid bench jdm64 and acquire NAF from Renegades. [8]
- 3 April 6th - Team Liquid sign TACO as steel steps down. [9]
- 1 January 15th - NRG Esports acquire nahtE from Counter Logic Gaming. AnJ becomes a free agent. [11][12]
- 2 March 1st - Immi joins NRG Esports as their coach ahead of their start to the season. [13]
- 1 February 6th - OpTic Gaming release mixwell. [14]
- 2 February 7th - Astralis sign Magisk. [15]
- 3 February 7th - OpTic Gaming announce a new lineup; stanislaw, ShahZaM rejoin, along with k0nfig, cajunb, and gade being acquired from North, the latter joining on loan from their Academy team. friberg, allu and HS are removed from the starting lineup. [16][17]
- 4 April 24th - OpTic Gaming sign Snappi, JUGi and ruggah to replace stanislaw, ShahZaM and ImAPet. However, ESL rules prevent the new additions from playing the remaining games of the season. [18]
- 1 January 4th - Snakes from SoaR Gaming is ineligible to play due to only being 15 years old. His spot will be filled by an unknown stand-in until he turns 16. [26]
- 2 February 2nd - Bibby steps down as SoaR Gaming's coach. [27]
- 3 January 30th - SoaR Gaming parts ways with its CS:GO squad with rumors of being unable to pay the squad a "competitive salary" relative to other teams in the ESL Pro League. Their EPL spot is transferred to the players who will play as Ownage pending their acquisition by another organization. Additionally, mitch joins to fill the underage Snakes' position on team while shinobi joins as coach. [28][29][30]
- 4 February 7th - Team Dignitas sign ownage. [31]
- 5 March 16th - Team Dignitas release xCeeD. [32]
- 6 March 31st - shinobi officially joins Team Dignitas as coach. [33]
- 7 April 2nd - mCe is cut from Team Dignitas. a2z and roca join to complete the roster. [34]
- 1 January 8th - MAiNLiNE joins Ghost Gaming as their coach. [35]
- 2 February 7th - Ghost Gaming add Subroza and stan1ey. [36]
- 3 March 15th - vSa replaces CoNnOrRr93 on Ghost Gaming. [37]
