Overview[edit]

Due to their split up after one player retired earlier last month and two more of their members left to play for Fnatic recently, TEAMGLOBAL, previously known as LGB eSports, does not have a valid line-up to hold on to their invitation to ESL One Cologne. Their slot will be redistributed to ESL India, a newcomer to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene. The new region will send their strongest team to ESL One Cologne to compete against the best teams in the world.

Action will kick off with a mini-league, when each team will play against each other throughout the day in best-of-one matches on predetermined maps – using the map pool set for Cologne that includes Overpass and Cobblestone.

All India Indian teams are allowed for this qualifier.[1]

The winners of the qualifier will receive full travel and accommodation support to ESL One Cologne, as well as extended bootcamp and a coach to help them prepare for the $250,000 tournament.[2]
