ESL Meisterschaft (engl. ESL Championship), formerly EPS Germany, is the highest national division of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in Germany. In every season, 8 "Core Teams" (the group of teams that made it to the online group stage) play at first in 5 Cups against the Top 8 of the German Major Ladder (former A-Series). A team will get points depending on their performance in each cup, and the Top 8 of this stage move on to the online group stage. The Top 2 from each group move on to face each other in the finals held in a Location chosen by ESL Germany.
ESL Germany announced on March 24th, 2017 that starting from the Summer 2017-Season the Meisterschaft would use a League System again that had been used in the Summer 2013-Season of Pro Series for the last time. [1]
